Please Kill Reality TV

I'm so sick of these reality shows with attention whores and F list celebrities. I ask myself when will it all end? I admit I was initially drawn to these programs. I enjoyed the first two survivors, I liked the first three seasons of the Real World, and I like Little People Big World. But it's gotten to the point that every one has a reality show. I wonder if I can get a reality show. They can film me while I'm writing my blog and all the exciting things that happen in my life. I swear I'm very entertaining.

E!, Vh1, and MTV are the main pushers of these stupid shows. Ninety percent of their programming is made up of this crap. On E! they have the Playboy chicks, the tanning Barbie dolls, and the pompous doctors of 90210. They should rename their programming to shallow nights at the E. What bothers me most about these programs is their promotion of double Ds, fake tans, and bleached blonde hair. As for the shows those Playboy chicks aren't that interesting. You really have to be an attention whore to sleep with an eighty year old man. If I had to spend an hour with these chicks I'd shoot myself. The tanning show is just disturbing. In one episode there was a mother who requested that her five-year old get a tan so she could look like Lindsay Lohan. I'm not easily outraged but when I saw that clip I wanted to fly to LA and beat the living shit out of that woman. The last program on my E hit list is doctor 90210, which is made of pompous assholes that have medical degrees in fixing tits and noses. These fuckers became doctors for the dollar not the betterment of society. And that's why I have so much disdain towards them.

Vh1 is another network that constantly runs reality shows. Their big reality stars are Flavor Flav, the black chick that is hood, Hulk Hogan, and Scott Baio. The Flavor Flav show and the spin off with the black chick is a modern day Minstrel show. Every time I glance at those two programs my IQ drops five points. The Hogan reality show is so contrived it should be scripted. Yawn, his family is bland like vanilla. Why should I care if Scott Baio is single or not? He hasn't been relevant since Charles in Charge. Why can't these former stars just go away?

MTV takes the cake for most reality shows on a single network. There is the Hills, Laguna Beach part two, Skater Boy and countless others. On the Hills every one lives in posh apartments and drive badass cars. If only real life was like the Hills. The kids on Laguna Part Two are like every teen in America white and blonde. Where is the token minority? As for the Skater Boy show what's the point? Skateboarding is so 2002. Just kidding I like skateboarding but I don't get why the life of a sixteen-year-old skater is that interesting.
