Where do I begin? It sucks that people don’t believe I’m twenty-seven. I have a hard time buying a lotto ticket. Most cashiers ask for an ID when purchasing the ticket. When I went to Vegas security was constantly on my case. Every five minutes a new person would ask for my driver’s license. Don’t get me started on buying a drink at the club or at the store. If I don’t have my ID I’m screwed. It’s gotten to the point that I don’t even bother drinking cause it’s such a pain in the ass. Bartenders have a hard time believing my age. Last year in Coachella I went to the drinking tent to get a wristband and the guy spent a good ten minutes inspecting my ID. He thought it was fake. It’s beyond frustrating.
Last weekend I headed to Central Florida to help my sister with her farm. After some manual labor I went to the gas station to get some water. I got the stuff that I needed and went to pay. Then the weirdest thing happened. A high schooler hit on me. He thought I attened the local high school. He was like are you ready to go back to school on Monday. I tried to explain that I finished high school and I was much older and not interested. But he didn’t buy it. He was like gimme a break you can’t even play the lotto and kept hitting on me. I wanted to die. I gathered my stuff and left as quickly as possible. I told the story to my girlfriend and she couldn’t stop laughing. Now every time we pass a high school she says maybe you’ll find your prince charming in there.
Later
